The SpaceOut website was only launched on 1 December and has so far only been promoted in a relatively small area - in and around Brisbane, Qld. But the site (and the concept) is already getting attention from other parts of Australia, and gathering interest (and listings) from a much wider area.
Already listings have been placed for areas such as Carina, Hawthorne, and West End in Brisbane , but listings from further afield such as Port Macquarie, Wagga Wagga and even Perth have also started appearing.
Additionally SpaceOut Pages are popping up in Search results for Google Search queries such as “Self Storage Carina” and “Self Storage Mooloolaba” , which is very encouraging so soon.

SpaceOut is a revolution in the Australian Self Storage industry - not only offering people opportunities to save money by renting out inexpenisve , convenient and local, self storage, but also allowing just about anyone to actually make money by renting out their spare, unused space that they already have available in their home, office, or business.
The concept is surprisingly simple: for a small fee, SpaceOut provide a listing service for Home and Business owners (SpaceOwners) throughout Australia, allowing them to advertise their empty space as being available for rent. People looking for storage space (SpaceSeekers) come to the SpaceOut site, carry out a search for the specific area they are interested, in, and all available spaces, in or near that area, are clearly displayed on a map. The SpaceSeeker, selects spaces that look interesting, to find out more about them, and if a space looks, just right can arrange to contact the SpaceOwner.
SpaceOwners and Seekers remain anonymous until both agree to make contact - at which stage they get to exchange contact details, and SpaceOuts work is done. The Owner and Seeker can then go on to meet, view the space, and if a space is suitable, make a rental agreement.
For SpaceOwners, SpaceOut provides an opportunity to make money out of thin air - literally.
